Hellish Horde

You are a soldier who has woken up in an unknown place with only two weapons at hand. Do you think you will be able to survive?

The game that I am presenting to you is a demo of what I want to create, and you may be wondering: what will this project be about? Who am I? What is the game like? And many other questions that may come to mind. So, let me tell you a little bit about this project and what I have planned for the future.

The name of this game is Hellish Horde. It is a top-down shooter in which you will have to survive waves of demons that are invading the Earth. Your objective will be to survive as long as you can, but you won't be doing it with empty hands.

At the moment, you may notice that the models and the scenery are a bit simple, right? The answer is simple: this is a technical demo where I will show you the foundation of where this project will start, and each model used (at least the characters and weapons) are placeholder models and are temporary.

As well as the player and their weapons.

But in this arena, you won't be defending yourself with nothing. Soon, I'll be adding supply boxes for you to heal yourself, as well as reload your ammo, and other power-ups that I'll keep secret.

I have a prepared list of things that are yet to be added, as well as some things that I might change in future updates.

Regarding weapons, I plan to add several types, at least two pistols, one or two submachine guns, two assault rifles, one explosive, and a special weapon.

A munition system will also be implemented (since, for the moment, ammunition is infinite), and the enemies and weapons will be better balanced.

I'll also create a personal high score tracking system and possibly add local multiplayer.

All of this is subject to change, and I'm open to suggestions on what you would like to see in this project in the near future. So, I ask you, are you up for joining and trying to survive?
